1. Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms of Service govern the use of the website published at northernutahpdr.buzz and the paintless dent repair services offered by Northern Utah PDR LLC from its workshop at 91 E 600 N Unit A, Tooele - 84074-1768, United States (US). By browsing the site, submitting an inquiry, approving an estimate, or leaving a vehicle at the workshop for repair, a person agrees to the terms set out below.

Northern Utah PDR LLC is a limited liability company organized in the United States and trading under the name Northern Utah PDR. Where these terms refer to the Company, we, us or our, the reference is to Northern Utah PDR LLC. Where they refer to the customer or the client, the reference is to the person who books, approves, pays for or owns the vehicle involved in the work.

If a reader does not agree with these terms, the appropriate course is to stop using the site and to arrange repair work elsewhere. A person who has already left a vehicle may collect it during business hours without penalty, provided the vehicle has not been worked on and no parts have been ordered for it.

These terms should be read together with the Privacy Policy published on the same site. The Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled, while these terms explain the commercial relationship and the responsibilities of each party.

2. Scope of Services

Northern Utah PDR LLC provides paintless dent repair for hail damage, door dings, creases, aluminum panels, insurance claim documentation and fleet or dealership programs. The service consists of reading the reflection on a panel, pushing or pulling the metal back toward its original contour, and tapping the surrounding surface flat without sanding, filling or repainting.

The service does not include painting, body filler, panel replacement, glass replacement, wheel repair, upholstery work or mechanical repair. Where a vehicle needs one of those services, we will say so during the inspection and refer the customer to a suitable provider. Referral does not create a partnership, an agency relationship or any responsibility for the referred work.

Work is performed at the workshop address unless a fleet or dealership program specifically provides for on-site service. In an on-site arrangement, the program manager is responsible for providing a safe, level and well lit area, adequate access to the vehicle, and permission to work on the property.

The website describes the services in general terms for the convenience of readers. The description of a service on the site is not an offer at a fixed price and does not guarantee that a particular vehicle will be accepted for that service.

3. Estimates and Approvals

Every repair begins with an inspection and a written estimate. The estimate identifies the panels to be worked, the approximate dent count, the expected finish, the price and the expected completion time. An estimate is an informed projection rather than a guarantee of a precise dent count, because hidden structure and paint condition can only be fully assessed once the vehicle is on the bench.

Work begins only after the customer approves the estimate in writing, by email or by signature. If additional damage is discovered during the repair, we stop, document the finding, and contact the customer for approval before continuing. We do not proceed on the assumption that the customer would want the extra work.

An estimate remains valid for a stated period, normally thirty days, because hail season changes panel availability and bench time. After that period we may need to inspect the vehicle again before honoring the quoted figure.

4. Pricing and Payment

Prices are based on panel shape, access difficulty, dent depth, dent count and the material of the panel. A single door ding is priced differently from a full hood of hail craters, and aluminum work carries a different rate from steel because it demands more caution and different tools. The written estimate states the price that applies to the job.

Payment is due when the vehicle is collected unless the estimate states otherwise or an insurer has agreed to pay the workshop directly. We accept the payment methods listed on the invoice. Fleet and dealership programs are invoiced on the schedule agreed in the program terms, usually monthly.

Late payment may result in a reasonable administrative charge where permitted by law. If an invoice remains unpaid, we may retain the vehicle as permitted by applicable lien rules, and we will give written notice before taking that step. We prefer to resolve a payment question directly and promptly rather than through a lien.

Where a repair is covered by insurance and the carrier pays less than the approved estimate, the difference is the responsibility of the vehicle owner unless we agree in writing to adjust the price. We will explain the basis for any adjustment before finalizing the invoice.

5. Scheduling and Turnaround

Inspection appointments are scheduled during business hours. We ask customers to arrive within ten minutes of the agreed time so the bench remains available for the next vehicle. If a customer is delayed, a call to +12319772350 allows us to rearrange the schedule where possible.

Turnaround depends on the scope of the work. A single door ding usually clears in under an hour, a light hail pass in one working day, and a severe storm job in two to four days. These figures are estimates rather than guarantees, because paint condition and hidden structure can change the time required.

During peak hail season the calendar fills quickly. A vehicle that is left with us enters the queue in the order the estimate was approved and the deposit, if any, was received. We will not move a vehicle ahead of others without a clear operational reason, and we will explain any change in position.

6. Repair Candidacy and Refusal

Paintless repair depends on the paint being intact. If the paint is cracked, chipped, peeling, previously repaired with filler or repainted, the panel may not be a suitable candidate. We will explain the reason and offer alternatives, including a conventional repair or a referral to a paint partner.

We may decline work where the metal is stretched beyond recovery, where the panel is bonded or welded in a way that blocks access, where the vehicle is unsafe to work on, or where the requested outcome cannot be achieved without misleading the customer. A refusal is not a judgment about the customer; it is a statement about what the method can honestly deliver.

If we accept a vehicle and later find that the expected result cannot be achieved, we will stop at the earliest safe point, document the condition, and discuss the remaining options. The customer is not charged for work that produced no improvement unless the customer agreed to an exploratory partial repair in writing.

7. Customer Responsibilities

The customer is responsible for providing accurate information about the vehicle, its history and any prior repairs. A previous repair that was not disclosed can change the behavior of the panel and may make a paintless repair unsafe or impossible.

The customer should remove personal belongings, valuables and child seats before leaving the vehicle, and should mention any alarm, immobilizer or access code needed to move the vehicle inside the shop. We are not responsible for items left in the vehicle.

The customer is responsible for confirming that the vehicle is legally owned or that the customer is authorized to approve work on it. Where a lienholder or insurer has an interest in the vehicle, the customer is responsible for the approvals that interest requires.

8. Vehicle Access, Keys and Movement

When a vehicle is left at the workshop, the customer authorizes us to move it within the shop area and on the immediate street approaches for the purpose of the repair. Movement is limited to what the job requires and is carried out by a technician holding a valid license.

Keys are stored in a locked cabinet when not in use and returned to the customer on collection. If a key is lost while in our care, we will cover the reasonable cost of replacement and reprogramming, subject to the limits stated in the liability section.

We do not use a customer vehicle for personal errands and we do not permit anyone other than a technician to drive it. Where a test drive is needed to confirm a repair, it is limited to a short local route.

9. Known Risks of Paintless Repair

Paintless repair is a physical process applied to a thin metal panel, and it carries known risks that no honest shop can eliminate entirely. The most common is a small crack in aged or brittle paint near the dent rim. Paint that has already lost flexibility can fail even when the metal moves correctly.

Another risk is a residual imperfection that remains visible under a low angle light even though the dent has been substantially reduced. A very deep or sharp dent may leave a faint outline that cannot be removed without repainting the panel. We will tell the customer when this outcome is likely before work begins.

Adhesive residue from glue tabs is cleaned during the process, but a faint mark can remain on some finishes and usually fades with washing. A trim clip can break when a panel is accessed; we replace broken clips at our cost where the break occurred during our work. These risks are explained during the inspection and are reflected in the written estimate.

10. Workmanship Warranty

We stand behind the quality of our work. If a repaired area shows a defect that is attributable to our technique within the warranty period stated on the completion summary, we will rework it at no charge. The warranty covers the technique, not the paint, the alloy, or damage that occurs after the vehicle leaves the shop.

The warranty does not cover a new dent, a new hail strike, a collision, a repair performed by another shop, or a failure caused by prior bodywork that was not disclosed. It also does not cover cosmetic changes caused by age, sun exposure or improper washing.

To make a warranty claim, contact us with the completion summary and a photograph of the area. We will inspect the vehicle at the Tooele workshop and, where the claim is valid, schedule the rework promptly.

11. Insurance Claims

Where a customer asks us to support an insurance claim, we provide photographs, panel counts, dent dimensions and a written estimate in a format most carriers accept. We do not act as the customer agent, we do not negotiate a settlement on the customer behalf, and we do not guarantee that a carrier will approve a claim.

The customer remains responsible for the policy, the deductible and any amount the carrier declines to pay. If a carrier pays the workshop directly, the customer is responsible for the balance if the payment is later reversed or reduced.

We welcome an adjuster inspection at 91 E 600 N Unit A and will make the vehicle available at a mutually agreed time. Documentation produced for a claim is retained after the repair so that follow-up questions can be answered.

12. Storage and Collection

Vehicles should be collected within two business days of the completion notice. The first week of storage after completion is provided at no charge. After that period a reasonable daily storage charge may apply, and we will give written notice before charging it.

If a vehicle remains uncollected for an extended period and the customer cannot be reached after reasonable attempts, we may take the steps permitted by applicable law, including a lien process. We prefer collection and will work with a customer who explains a delay.

When a vehicle is collected, the customer should inspect the work in good light before leaving. Any concern raised at that moment can be addressed immediately, and any concern raised later will be handled under the warranty section.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the total liability of Northern Utah PDR LLC for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount the customer paid for the specific repair that gave rise to the claim. This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, including loss of use, loss of income, rental costs, or a decline in resale value that is not caused by our work. We are not liable for pre-existing damage, mechanical faults, electrical faults, or defects in paint that were present before the vehicle arrived.

Where a vehicle is damaged while in our care through our fault, we will repair the damage or compensate the customer for the reasonable cost of repair. The customer should report any such concern promptly so that the condition can be documented.

14. Indemnification

The customer agrees to indemnify Northern Utah PDR LLC against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from information the customer supplied that was inaccurate, from a failure to disclose prior repairs, or from a dispute over ownership of the vehicle. This obligation applies only to the extent the claim is caused by the customer conduct.

We will notify the customer promptly if such a claim arises and will allow the customer an opportunity to participate in the response where the law permits.

15. Website Use and Content

The website is provided for information. We take care to keep descriptions accurate, but the site does not constitute a binding offer, a warranty, or professional advice for a specific vehicle. Prices and turnaround figures described on the site are indicative and are confirmed only in a written estimate.

A visitor agrees not to attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site, to interfere with its operation, to scrape content at a volume that degrades service, or to use the contact form for spam or unlawful communication. We may restrict access where misuse is detected.

The site is provided on an as available basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and may take the site offline for maintenance without notice.

16. Intellectual Property

The text, layout, illustrations and code on this website belong to Northern Utah PDR LLC unless otherwise noted. A visitor may read the content, print a page for personal use, and share a link. Republishing content for commercial purposes requires written permission.

Photographs of customer vehicles are used for documentation and, where the customer consents, for illustrating the work. A customer may withdraw consent for illustrative use at any time by writing to appointments@northernutahpdr.buzz, and we will remove the images from public pages within a reasonable period.

17. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for a delay or failure caused by an event beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, power failure, fire, flood, civil disruption, epidemic, supply failure or a legal restriction. Where such an event occurs, we will notify affected customers as soon as practicable and reschedule work at the earliest opportunity.

A force majeure event does not remove the obligation to pay for work already completed, and it does not entitle a customer to a refund of an approved deposit where costs have already been incurred for that job.

18. Disputes and Governing Law

The parties will first attempt to resolve a dispute through direct discussion. A customer who has a concern should contact us in writing with the completion summary and a description of the issue. We will respond within a reasonable period and propose a resolution, which may include rework under the warranty.

If direct discussion does not resolve the matter, the parties may agree to mediation before pursuing any other remedy. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah and the laws of the United States that apply in that state, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any legal proceeding will be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction serving Tooele County, Utah.

Nothing in this section prevents a consumer from exercising a statutory right that cannot be waived.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms to reflect a change in the service, a change in the law, or an improvement in how the relationship is described. The effective date at the top of the page is updated whenever a material change is made, and a short summary of the change is posted on the website.

The terms that apply to a specific repair are the terms in force when the estimate was approved. A later revision does not retroactively change the terms of a completed job. Customers may request a copy of the version that applied to their repair.

20. Contact Information

Questions about these terms, a request for a copy of an estimate, or a warranty concern may be sent to the workshop using the details below. We answer written questions within a few working days.

By leaving a vehicle for repair or by approving a written estimate, the customer confirms that these terms have been read and accepted.
